Selling her Real Estate Office in the Houston area and moving to Arroyo City permanently in 1989, along with her husband, a retired airline pilot, Linda decided to open South Texas Resort Properties/dba STR Properties to specialize in the niche market of waterfront/waterview properties in Arroyo City – an area well known for its world-class shallow water fishing, and remarkable birding opportunities. Her knowledge of sales and her vast experience as the area’s foremost broker gives STR its edge in the area market.

Hello, my name is Lynn Koch and I would like to take a minute of your time to tell you a little bit about me. My husband, and our family, all native Texans' found ourselves relocating to sunny South Texas in 1999, from East Texas. We've successfully raised two boys.  The oldest has Graduated College, & fast making a name for himself on South Padre Island TX, where he is a Graphic Designer, & Freelance Photographer.  The youngest is in his 4rd. year at Texas A&M University @ College Station, persuing his Business Degree.  My Husband has been a Corporate Pilot nearly 15 years, and loves his job, and being home most everynight gives him the time to spend time with me, our animals, and with the boy's when their home.     

In 2004, thanks to my wonderful Mother-in-Law Linda Koch, Broker/Owner of STR Properties, who has been in Real Estate over 30 years.  I found myself embarking on the interesting and fascinating career of Real Estate.
